Lead Pastor DJ Dangerfield has been preaching and pastoring for over 20 years. He began his ministry in the basement of a bank in Humboldt, Kansas, and has carried a deep passion for God’s Word and for people ever since.

 

Pastor DJ has been part of First Baptist Church since 2006, initially as an attender. In 2008, he became the full-time youth pastor, where God used him to invest in and raise up students who now serve in ministries across the nation.

 

In 2016, Pastor DJ was installed as Lead Pastor of FBC Chanute. His heart is to reach the lost and help believers grow deeper in their walk with Christ.

 

Pastor DJ has Six Adult children, 5 on their own and one still at home, He also has 3 Grand children that he gets to spoil. DJ is Married to Wendy and she thinks He is the best!
